This is tricky. Arrest warrants are usually public record, but there are privacy issues involved with asking about somebody else's warrant status. Try this web site for more information:

When I was there, a basic jailer made around $22000.00 per year. Jail sergeants made around $25000.00 and commissioned officers came in at around $28000.00. You were furnished with three uniforms but could buy more on your own dime. This might have changed as I understand that the uniform has changed to a polo-type shirt for jailers since I was there.

Yeah, you can send books but they have to be brand new and ship from the bookstore. Amazon, borders and barnes and noble are popular.

my son is an inmate in your jail and I recieved a call last night on my cell from him and tried to purchase the 24.99 one time fee. But it just disconnected when I tried. How can I purchase this?

Also, if I remember correctly, you might not be able to receive calls from inmates on a cell phone. You might need to receive those calls on a land line because cell phones cannot be billed.

Try calling the number you were given again. If that doesn't work, call the jail at (254) 697-7033 and ask them for the correctional telephone service's 800 number, then call it and make arrangements there. I don't remember the name of the service, but the jail will have their number.
